History of the Clan

For as wet as last year was, Pennsic 1995 was very, very hot! It was hot during the day and it remained hot at night as well. New to the Clan this year were Nick, Valerio, Pete, Joe and Nicole. This year the Shadow Alliance first officially formed, but Die Fledermaus had not yet joined. It was also the very first year of the Naked Spaghetti Dinner Party. This event was originally hosted by Nordwulf, our neighbors across the street. Die Fledermaus also co-hosted a cliché party with Nordwulf that year. One strange thing which did occur in camp was our Nordwulf friend Tim treated us to an impromptu rendition of the Sanford and Son theme on harmonica which was accompanied by a special dance. Fascination with the rope swing continued.

Some of the things overheard in camp this year include:

• “O.K. Giant Beer”, with its natural variant: “Sure thing, Giant Beer.”
• “What’s going on in there?!”
• “I CAN’T control Her!”
